Kansas Athletics Announces Dates of 2006 Quarterback Club Meetings
LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Kansas Athletics and the KU Quarterback Club have
announced the dates of the 2006 club meetings. The Quarterback Club is
specially designed to give its members the ultimate insider's look at KU
football. Individuals can join for just $100 and couples can sign up for

Membership in the KU Football Quarterback Club includes:
* 2006 Media Guide
* KU Quarterback Club Cap or Visor
* Complimentary buffet at the preseason kickoff party
* Reduced rate at the postseason luncheon featuring Coach Mangino
* Five in-season meetings with complimentary drinks and snacks
* Entry into weekly prize drawings
* An sneak peek at the 2007 recruiting class biographies
* 2007 Spring Prospectus Media Guide
In addition, all Quarterback Club members will be admitted free to the

PRESEASON KICKOFF PARTY - 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
* Tuesday, Aug. 1 - Featuring Coach Mangino at the 'Boots' Adams Alumni
Center (complimentary buffet and beverages).
IN SEASON MEETINGS - 5:30-7:00 p.m. @ The Eldridge Hotel (7th and Mass.)

* Monday, Sept. 11
First In Season Meeting - Highlights of the Northwestern State and
Louisiana Monroe games. Guest Speakers include two-time KU All-American
and NFL great John Hadl and the new voice of Jayhawks, David Lawrence.
* Monday, Sept. 25
Highlights of the Toledo and South Florida games. Guest Speakers Tom
Keegan and Ryan Wood of the Lawrence Journal-World give their insight on
the Jayhawks as KU gears up for Big 12 play.
* Monday, Oct. 9
Highlights of the Nebraska and Texas A&M games. Guest speakers announced
at a later date.
* Monday, Oct. 30
Highlights of the Oklahoma State, Baylor and Colorado games. Guest
speakers announced at a later date.
* Monday, Nov. 20
Legendary Coach Don Fambrough talks about the Missouri rivalry plus
highlights of the Iowa State and Kansas State games.
Early-December
Post-Season Luncheon featuring Head Coach Mark Mangino, including a
highlight tape of the 2006 season.
MID-FEBRUARY
Special Post-Recruiting Party featuring highlights of the new class and
recruiting coordinator Brandon Blaney.
